Although woven fabrics are naturally the most prevalent, including jacquard weaving, there are also more experimental approaches to the work with textiles that challenge the materials and their usual composition.
There are 40 works on display, which are selected by a three-person jury representing the ETF-European Tapestry Forum. The works are selected from 118 submitted. Particularly prized was Pawel Kielpinski’s work „Steel“ which was the most outstanding.
